This is more of a maintenance release, rather than release of new features.

This update contains several small but useful additions and modifications.
What's New:
* Added option for the shutdown message to stay on top of other windows;
* Added option to minimize all windows before showing shutdown message;
* Added option to disable "Cancel" button in the shutdown message;
* Increased maximum length of the number of seconds in Low CPU Usage event;
* Increased maximum length of the number of seconds in Ping Stops event;
* Font has been changed to "MS Shell Dlg" for NT platforms to support ClearType;
* Fixed problem with unsaved settings caused by some shutdown procedures;
* Added "Offline Only" option to the Battery Low event, which will allow
triggering the event only when computer is running on battery; |
Another
relatively big update, containing changes which were accumulating from
the previous release. Most of these changes are for improvement of the
user experience while using the program. Default behavior for adding
folders is finally combined into a global configuration, so it defines
behavior for the entire program, which might later be expanded with
file masking parameters. Also, support of command line parameters and
wildcards is enhanced.
What's New:
* Dramatically speeded up process of auto-sizing file table columns;
* Added options for showing hidden and system folders in "Add Folders" dialog;
* Generalized filter settings aka "default behavior for adding folders";
* Added option to include system files, in filter settings;
* Added new WideScanDirForFolders() function to PascalScript;

* Function WideScanDir() has been changed to WideScanDirForFiles();

This
is a big update. Large amount of effort went into these changes and
additions, which were accumulating since the previous release. Many
improvements were made to PascalScript rule, from usability and
functionality points of view. Finally, RemObjects, the producers of
PascalScript component, were kind enough to fix the problems which I
have reported about 6 months ago! Users of PascalScript, please, have a
look at the list of changes - some crucial functions have been changed.
From another perspective, there is a great addition to the meta tags -
tags for retrieving duration of audio files. Wanted to add that a long
time ago, but didn't have the right libraries until recently. Plus,
other small changes/additions.
What's New:
* Added meta tags to retrieve duration of Audio files: MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV!
* Updated PascalScript source to the latest January SVN release,
which has finally addressed previously reported by me issues, now:
1) SetLength() and Length() functions work for both WideStrings and Arrays;
2) Widestring indexed character access is working, i.e. WideString[1];
Note: WideArrayLength() and WideArraySetLength() functions are removed!
* Added 8 new functions to PascalScript rule: SetFileTimeCreated,
SetFileTimeModified, SetClipboardText, GetClipboardText, ReplaceRegEx,
MatchesRegEx, CalculateMetaTag, FileReadFragment;
* Wildcards can now be used within Remove and Replace rules!
* Files selection mask is remembered for the entire session;
* JPE file extension is treated as JPEG format, for meta tags;
* Help files will now be opened with the default web browser;

* Added Hours Span script, which adds/subtracts hours from dates in filenames;
* Count of selected and marked files will now be displayed in the status bar;
* Fixed tool bars in the main window and in the presets manager to support manifest;
* Fixed ignoring of the option "Auto preview on change of rules configuration"
when states of the checkboxes of the rules are changed;
* Last used values for dialogs "Mark by mask", "Select by filename length",
"Select by extension" and "Select by mask" - will now be remembered;
* Multiple masks/extensions can be defined in dialogs "Mark by mask",
"Select by extension" and "Select by mask".
* Added "Apply rules to the clipboard" option;
